CASTING APPLICATION
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS, CONSENTS AND RELEASE *
Program: Currently entitled “Great American Make-Off” (the “Program”)
Producer: Workaholic Productions, Inc. (“Producer”)
Please read the following carefully before submitting your application. By electronically signing and submitting your application, you acknowledge that you have read, understand and agree to these Eligibility Requirements, Consents and Release.
1. ELIGIBILITY
To be considered for participation in the Program:
a. Age. You must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age as of August 1, 2026.
b. Residency. You must be a legal resident of the United States and legally eligible to participate in the Program and receive any prize that may be awarded.
c. Conflicts of Interest. Producer reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to determine that an applicant is ineligible if the applicant has a relationship or connection that could create an actual or perceived conflict of interest or appearance of impropriety in connection with the Program.
This may include a current or recent employment, business, family, personal or other significant relationship with:
    • Producer or any person or entity involved in the development, production, judging, financing, distribution or exploitation of the Program;
    • any sponsor or advertiser associated with the Program; or
    • any person or entity supplying goods, services, equipment, materials or prizes to the Program.
You agree to disclose any such relationship in your application and to promptly notify Producer if any relevant relationship or circumstance changes during the casting process.
d. Additional Requirements. If selected as a potential participant, you may be required to execute additional agreements, releases, waivers, competition rules and other documents required by Producer.
e. Availability. You must be willing and able to make yourself available to production for approximately five (5) to eight (8) weeks, whether consecutive or non-consecutive, currently anticipated to begin on or around December 2026. Production dates, locations and duration are subject to change. You must also be willing and able to travel to production locations as reasonably required by Producer.
f. Screening. Selection as a participant may be conditioned upon satisfactory completion of background screening and/or physical or psychological evaluations as Producer determines appropriate. Any such screening or evaluation will be conducted pursuant to any additional notices, authorizations, releases or other documentation required by applicable law.
Meeting these eligibility requirements does not guarantee that you will be interviewed, selected or otherwise contacted by Producer. Producer reserves the right to modify or waive eligibility requirements to the extent permitted by law.
2. ACCURACY OF APPLICATION
I represent and warrant that all information I provide in my application and during the casting process is truthful, accurate and complete to the best of my knowledge.
I understand that providing false, misleading or materially incomplete information may result in my removal from consideration or, if I have already been selected, my disqualification or removal from the Program.
I understand that Producer has no obligation to interview me, contact me, select me, produce the Program, conduct any competition described in connection with the Program, distribute or exhibit the Program, or award any prize except as may ultimately be required under separate written competition rules or agreements.
All casting and participant-selection decisions are within Producer’s discretion and are final to the maximum extent permitted by law.
3. APPLICATION MATERIALS AND RIGHTS GRANTED
I understand that my application may include photographs, videos, recordings, descriptions of projects or builds, written responses, biographical information, social-media information or links, and other materials submitted or provided by me in connection with my application (collectively, the “Application Materials”).
I grant Producer and its parents, affiliates, successors, licensees and assigns the irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free right, in perpetuity, to record, photograph, reproduce, edit, modify, adapt, publish, display, distribute, exhibit and otherwise use my name, voice, likeness, image, appearance, statements, biographical information, Application Materials and any interviews, auditions or other recordings made in connection with the casting process (collectively, my “Likeness and Materials”).
These rights may be exercised in any media or platform now known or later developed, including without limitation television, streaming services, FAST channels, websites, social-media platforms, digital platforms, advertising, publicity, promotional materials and other media, in connection with the Program, the casting or development of the Program, and the advertising, publicity, promotion, distribution or exploitation of the Program and Producer.
Producer may edit, rearrange, combine, excerpt or otherwise modify my Likeness and Materials in Producer’s discretion.
I understand that these rights apply whether or not I am ultimately selected to participate in the Program and that I will not receive compensation for submitting an application, participating in the casting process, or granting the rights contained in this application.
I represent and warrant that, except for materials I specifically identify to Producer as belonging to a third party, I have the necessary rights and permissions to submit the Application Materials and grant Producer the rights described above.
I understand that submission of photographs, video or information depicting a build, design, project or other work does not by itself transfer ownership of the underlying build, design, invention or intellectual property to Producer. However, Producer may photograph, record, depict and use the submitted materials and the appearance and description of such work as provided in this agreement.
4. CASTING RECORDINGS
I authorize Producer to photograph, film and record me during any casting interview, audition, video conference, test, meeting or other casting activity.
Producer shall own all recordings created by or on behalf of Producer during the casting process and may use, edit and exploit those recordings as provided in this agreement.
I waive any right to inspect or approve the finished Program, casting materials, promotional materials or other uses authorized under this agreement.
5. INVESTIGATION AND VERIFICATION
I authorize Producer and persons acting on Producer’s behalf to verify information that I voluntarily provide during the casting process, including contacting references, former or current employers, educational institutions and other persons or organizations identified by me or reasonably relevant to verifying my application, to the extent permitted by law.
I understand that Producer may also review publicly available information concerning me, including publicly available websites, news reports, court records and social-media content.
If Producer seeks a consumer report, investigative consumer report, criminal-background report or other report requiring a separate disclosure or authorization under applicable federal or state law, I understand that Producer may provide me with additional documentation and request my authorization before obtaining such report.
6. CONFIDENTIALITY
During the casting process, I may receive or learn confidential or non-public information concerning the Program (“Confidential Information”).
Confidential Information may include, without limitation, casting information; identities of other applicants or participants; challenge concepts; competition rules or formats; production methods; sets or locations not publicly announced; sponsors; equipment; materials; judging information; results; eliminations; winners; prizes; episode content; photographs or recordings from production; business information; and other information that Producer has not publicly released.
I agree not to disclose, publish, post, distribute or otherwise make Confidential Information available to any third party, including through social media, without Producer’s prior written authorization.
Information shall no longer be considered Confidential Information once Producer has intentionally made that specific information publicly available, unless Producer informs me that continued confidentiality is required.
Nothing in this agreement prohibits me from reporting possible violations of law to governmental authorities, participating in legally protected activity, responding truthfully to lawful legal process, or making any disclosure that cannot lawfully be restricted.
I understand that unauthorized disclosure of Confidential Information could cause Producer substantial and irreparable harm and that Producer may seek injunctive or other equitable relief in addition to any other remedies available under law.
7. EDITING, PORTRAYAL AND PUBLICITY
I understand that reality and competition programming involves editorial judgment and that recordings and information concerning participants may be edited, condensed, rearranged, juxtaposed or otherwise presented in ways that may differ from the order or context in which events originally occurred.
I understand that my appearance, statements, actions and information concerning me may be portrayed in a manner that I consider unfavorable, embarrassing, surprising or unflattering.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, I consent to such editing and portrayal and waive claims arising from the authorized use of my Likeness and Materials, including claims for defamation, false light, invasion of privacy, right of publicity, emotional distress or similar claims, except to the extent such claims cannot legally be waived.
8. RELEASE
To the maximum extent permitted by law, I release and forever discharge Producer and its parent, affiliated and related entities, successors, licensees and assigns, together with their respective owners, officers, directors, employees, agents, representatives, contractors and production personnel (collectively, the “Released Parties”), from claims, demands, liabilities, damages or causes of action arising from or relating to:
    • my application for or participation in the casting process;
    • the recording or use of my Likeness and Materials as authorized by this agreement;
    • Producer’s exercise of the rights granted by me in this agreement; or
    • my participation in casting interviews, auditions or related casting activities,
including claims based upon negligence of a Released Party, to the maximum extent such claims may lawfully be released.
This application release does not release claims that cannot legally be released under applicable law.
9. CALIFORNIA CIVIL CODE SECTION 1542
To the maximum extent permitted by law, I waive the provisions of California Civil Code Section 1542 and any similar law of another jurisdiction.
Section 1542 currently provides:
“A general release does not extend to claims that the creditor or releasing party does not know or suspect to exist in his or her favor at the time of executing the release and that, if known by him or her, would have materially affected his or her settlement with the debtor or released party.”
I understand that this means I may be releasing claims that I do not presently know or suspect to exist, to the extent permitted by law.
10. NO OBLIGATION / PRODUCER CONTROL
I acknowledge that Producer shall have sole discretion over casting and production decisions, including whether to contact, interview or select me.
Producer may select applicants through other casting methods and is not required to select participants solely from persons submitting this application.
Producer has no obligation to return any Application Materials.
Nothing in this application requires Producer to produce, distribute, advertise or exhibit the Program.
11. ASSIGNMENT
Producer may assign, license or transfer this agreement and any or all rights granted under it to any person or entity, including without limitation any production partner, financier, sponsor, television network, streaming service, FAST platform, digital platform, distributor or other exhibitor or licensee of the Program.
Any such successor, licensee or assignee may exercise the rights granted to Producer under this agreement.
12. DISPUTE RESOLUTION — MEDIATION AND ARBITRATION
Except where prohibited by applicable law, any controversy, dispute or claim arising out of or relating to this agreement, my application, the casting process or my participation in connection with the Program (“Dispute”) that cannot be resolved informally shall first be submitted to confidential mediation in Los Angeles County, California.
If mediation does not resolve the Dispute, the Dispute shall be resolved by final and binding arbitration before a single neutral arbitrator administered by JAMS pursuant to its applicable rules and procedures.
The arbitrator shall be a retired judge or an attorney experienced in entertainment-industry matters and licensed to practice law in California.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, I and Producer agree that claims shall be brought only in an individual capacity and not as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class, collective, representative or consolidated proceeding.
The arbitrator may award any remedy available under applicable law. Judgment upon an arbitration award may be entered in any court having jurisdiction.
Notwithstanding the foregoing, Producer may seek temporary, preliminary or permanent injunctive or equitable relief from a court of competent jurisdiction to prevent or remedy an actual or threatened violation of my confidentiality or unauthorized use or disclosure of Producer’s intellectual property or Confidential Information.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, I agree that I will not seek to enjoin or otherwise prevent the development, production, distribution, advertising or exhibition of the Program or any materials produced in connection with it.
The Federal Arbitration Act, 9 U.S.C. § 1 et seq., shall govern the arbitration provisions of this agreement.
13. GOVERNING LAW
Except to the extent governed by the Federal Arbitration Act, this agreement shall be interpreted under the substantive laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.
For any matter that is determined not to be subject to arbitration, the parties consent to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the state and federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California.
14. ELECTRONIC SIGNATURE AND AGREEMENT
I understand and agree that my electronic signature, including my typing my name, checking an electronic box indicating my agreement, clicking a button indicating acceptance and/or electronically submitting this application through Producer’s designated application system, constitutes my electronic signature and is intended by me to have the same force and effect as my handwritten signature.
I consent to conducting this transaction electronically and agree that electronic records relating to this application may be retained by Producer.
15. SEVERABILITY AND ENTIRE AGREEMENT
If any provision of this application release is determined to be invalid, illegal or unenforceable, that provision shall be enforced to the maximum extent permitted by law or severed as necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
This Eligibility Requirements, Consents and Release constitutes the agreement between Producer and me concerning my casting application and supersedes any inconsistent oral representations concerning the subjects addressed herein. It may be modified only in a writing authorized by Producer.

    • I understand that this agreement contains a release of certain legal claims and an agreement requiring most disputes to be resolved through binding arbitration rather than in court.
